Laura is to be a grand-mother in February. I am letting Cheryl use some of my winter maternity clothes. They are only lying around here getting dried out.

I was indeed sorry to learn of Mrs. Hahn's death. It's rather tragic and I'm sure, a great loss to Dr. Hahn. I'll try to get a nice card off to him this week-end.

We had a nice P.T.A. meeting on Tuesday night. There were no teacher-parent visitations, for we had a band concert. I think my children's parents, for the most part, are ones who will not be coming out. 

I have not marked a single paper this week though I've collected quite a few. That task remains ahead of me before the week-end sets in. I always like to keep the week-end free, for that's when I catch up the loose ends around here. During
