Federal Hill, and that since that time it has been found necessary to guard the same to prevent destruction. | July 7 Respectfully referred to Asst Com'r Maryland for report In whose charge is this property and, for what purpose is it used? Information may be obtained from Judge Bond A.P.K. A.G.O. July 16th Recd back stating that the property mentioned was turned over to Col G. W. Bradley Chief Q.M. Md Mil Dep't previous to the organization of his Dist to the Balt association for the education of colored people and that they report the same appropriated for their purposes. July 18 Respectfully returned to the QM Genl USA whose attention is invited to endorsement of Col Chandler A.A.G. for Md O.O.H.] July 24 Respectfully ret'd A.G. of Md Maj Brown informs this office that the property mentioned within is borne upon the papers of Lt Buckley AAQM for Md. The A.C. will please see that such measures are taken by the Society who are to use the property as will relieve the Govt found necessity of guarding the same A.P.K. A.A.G. Aug 15" Recd back with the information that the building has been moved and no further necessity exists for a guard. Filed. |
