6Early 23.

I was taken care of. I was given a salary. It was easy to live. Though the State Department apologized for the salary, to me it was a little fortune.

G:  When you think about India now, what is particular fascinates you? It's so different, culturally, from Europe or our own culture.

B:  I became actually Indian when I was there. I felt Indian.

G:  As you believe in reincarnation, do you feel that you might have been Indian.

B:  I don't know. Of course many Indians said I was reincarnated. I believe in it but I often question it and challenge it because I don't know. I don't want to be blind. Yet what I hear and read makes it logical. I don't want to press this point on any one else but I have accepted the idea. I believe something goes on after we die but I cannot prove it.

Actually this whole thing of being alive is incomprehensible.  None of us really knows anything. (RMG:12,13)
