one soul mate?

B: I suppose that happened the first time my heart was broken. That was by Roche. I was really suffering. I am very grateful to Roche and Duchamp. Both those men did their best, because I love them and they loved me, to bring me into the actuality of what is the world. I know what is the world. I try not to be too full of judgement when a person says she is full of guilt. I can only think, so are most of us. (RMK:5,6)

B: I think all this "falling in love" business, it has so much meaning to a woman. There is something beyond it. It might be [[strikethrough]] now, [[/strikethrough]] because I'm such an old bag that I feel this way, or that it may be that as you age your emotions quiet down. I think in relationships, there is something beyond physical. I can't find my own words because I'm groping in my own mind about this. I think it's a joke on the human race.

But it has a terrific meaning. No use saying "I, You," it's "we," we're all involved more or less. We get these extraordinary infatuations. We'll do anything. I would have done anything for Bob, except I also know I have to behave. All right.

Once I was in love I would have done anything. All right. Then we fall out of love.
