Dear Warren

First of all, the box of prints and drawings arrived today in excellent order. (Pride and Prejudice 5; other drawings, 20; Prints, 15.) I am exceedingly pleased with the collection and have a very strong feeling that it is precisely the kind of material we ought to be exhibiting-- especially at Mr. Jefferson's University-- if we are to humanize our students and the general public. Hence, contrary to what I said earlier, I think it would be best to re-mat completely-- as opposed to simply putting new window-mats over your mats. I hope this will meet with your approval. We will still preserve your
