Dear Jane -

Regarding the last paragraph of your letter Jan. 3. I agree, I have written longhand to Mr. Person explaining my situation that no unfriendliness was intended I've a legal pressure involve dbesides the preserve of the 2 children during the holidays no one to type a letter etc.

The storage etc is OK. I'll have it transferred and shpiped up there.

I have asked that m work on consignment be not loaned out. I have no obligation to Huston or Cleveland etc. They can buy if they want it. A drawing is not expensive, and I do not like Art Rental.

It was not and is not my wish to be involved with consignment work. It takes a lot of working time with its details. I hope to survive without it, as I explained.

There may be incidentals I'm not acquainted with but I owe you for a frame and a photograph for Hilton Cramer. Anything else involved I shall be glad to know about and shall try to attend to your satisfaction.

I'm sorry things worked out this way

Cordially
