Dear Dottie

Its a dull dark Sunday - a little sinus on account of all the rain and not much news on account Ive written so often and nothing interesting happened.

Hugh is back in town. "on a scholarship at Yale etc.

I got a letter from Mom - Ill have to answer it but Christ Ive nothing to say to her.

Youve been on the tour of galleries etc. As far as I'm concerned I dont pay freight and certainly not advertising and announcements. You could for your show but your work is light. Be sure and keep a date book on all the galleries you see, addresses etc. its handy.

Im baking beans cleaned up the house yesterday big rain browned up all the cupboard dishes gave me a bitch of a job, leak in roof etc.

Got the electric heater back from Sears finally

When I'm in Saratoga I stay at Mrs. Spratts who Bob took me to - she charges I.50 and works in the Co-op next door.

I think Ive got a more settled perspective now, and can get to work - but I dont feel good today as you can tell by this letter -

So Honey Ill sign off and write you more when things happen

Love to you,
David
