Dear Leon,
Thank you for your kind letter and invitation. I am not very good company so must refuse all these friendly suggestions. I dont know what I want, (since I must be parted from that which was most dear) so shall have to try to interest myself in something so that I shall not lose my reason. Just now the pictures are being cleaned by the good Lowe men and what beauty is coming to light that has been dusty and hidden for years! We can hardly tear ourselves away from the studio. It is going to be a wonderful show. But a great responsibility to care properly for the pictures now and forever. I like telephone conversations with friends but not so much from the real estate agents etc that bother and heckle us. I shouldn't mind a winter in the country and am considering it before long. It is understandable that dear Viette gets homesick sometimes. I hope things will straighten out abroad so that she can have the trip.
With much love to all the Krolls,
Theirs,
Edith Glackens
