longer a home. I have placed our parlor and first floor on the renting market and if God hears I shall retain the third floor apartment and my den with out-door porch in the basement and scoop in dollar after dollar towqrd mortgages and reproduction of the sketch books. So far the studio duplex is vacant due in part to 9 St being full of W.P.A s and old sewer pi pes five months of last year. The other item of bad luck was the people who paid down fifty dollars, delayed us for two weeks before signing the lease, forfeited the deposit because daughter feared her beaux would not climb stairs and so left us tenantless and the renting season closed. Pia has had her allowance stopped ( or it will be ) and is here to establish herself financially. She has sent a manuscript to Stostocosfy (Theres spelling for you!) which he has acknowledged.
