(U.S.E.D., N.Y.D.) FORM No.11

WAR DEPARTMENT
UNITED STATES ENGINEER OFFICE
NEW YORK DISTRICT
ROOM 601, 120 WALL STREET
NEW YORK, N.Y.

REFER TO FILE No.

March 31, 1943.

Mr. Reginald Marsh,
1 Union Square,
New York, N.Y.

Dear Reginald Marsh:
I was convinced, as I told you, that you would be one of the very first to be selected by our Committee as soon as they were aware that you wished to accept assignment without reserve. As soon as we know exactly what fronts are opened and exactly which artists have accepted, I will give you a telephone call and consult you on what sort of an assignment you would be most interested in.

I got the paint medium and thanks a lot.
Cordially,
George Biddle
