Dear Mr.Whiting,
Thank you for your letter of Oct.21st.Since no subsequent word disclosing the identity of your collaborator has come, it is hard to know what to think of their desire for secrecy.
The paragraph in said page 594, starting with: "Visitors to the great"-contains an insinuation very unfair to my rights at this jury meeting. It wants to suggest that I coincided with Bruce and Kroll.
For your information I voted "no" to all of Messrs.
MacLeary, Harding and Mahoney.
Between Mr. Bruce and myself there has been an exchange of letters which I welcome you or anyone else to read or to publish.
Sincerely yours,
