Dear Mr. Gellatly:

Thank you for your remembrance; and of course the [[strikethrough]] information [[strikethrough]] information is inspiring of the gallery and the pleasure Mrs. Gellatly and yourself expect in the Beggar Maid picture

Consider this an acknowledgement of your note; and within two weeks I will reply directly to your letter

I have had considerable trouble with my eyes, and although better I can not tell just how they will stand a continuous strain till I make a trial.

Of course there has been no time when I would not have been pleased to see everything finished; and ideals realized.

As I understand the trouble of my eyes, it is due to a strain, and they exact a fair chance to get right again and are doing as well as I could expect.
