Janice,

Wasn't it horrible? I was in 3rd period when a bulletin came around. Mr. Allen read it to himself, then he said "Students, please remain calm, this is a special bulletin. " you will be informed as things happen".

My first though was "Oh, God!" Russia dropped a bomb and we've declared War!" When Mr. Allen said that President Kennedy had been shot, everyone just sat there. I didn't believe it at first, but there it was, written on the bulletin!

We didn't have school on Monday so the 3-day weekend was so depressing and sad! The funeral made me cry all over again (inside)

Sunday night my parents and I went to see Laurence of Arabia. I felt like a traitor or something, but the theater was packed. It was real gory and depressing. But was a real good show with wonderful scenery, acting and music.

Well, I guess there is nothing more to say.

Best Friends Forever.... Paulett
