Agents to instruct the freedpeople of their rights, duties and privileges under the "Military Bill." To this end Sub Asst. Comr. and Agents have been directed to visit the plantations and instruct the freedmen.

The crops bid fair to furnish an abundant yield and I believe we have heard the last of destitution among the people of this state who are willing to labor for their own support.
