Send me ($60.00) sixty dollars for my ring, also ($85.65) eighty-five dollars and sixty-five cents for the lettering of the colors of the regiment which you requested me to pay for, and I will cease any further action against you.  If you do not, you shall have entire satisfaction from a "Government pauper & brainless kerr".  I have a spicy thing from H. Burkhard & others from Louisville, history of a law-suit &c your sister attaching cotton &c, from your washwomen to rape case, Sites history of you included, a fine statement from Lawyer Davis on 4½ St. N.Y. trouble your wanting admission to the bar &c &c and offering a bribe of a $100, also letter from Genl's Thomas, Palmer, Parrie & others who do not remember recommending you for brevet promotion, all are autograph letters, your obtaining money under false pretences, statement about dead men's money, your reports
