Mr Barry to come to my house no. 341-12 St. and solicited board and room I took him in. He told me he had made sixty thousand dollars during the war, that it was in Bonds and Bank.  in Tennessee, he asked me to loan him money until the interest on his Bonds came due, which I did, and he failed to pay me.
