States that the A.M.A. and the Western, Freedmen's Aide Commission, in order to secure the use of the buildings for the Fisk school house, Nashville,  purchased the lots for $16,000., mostly borrowed money. Requests that the Bureau allow a rent on the premises of $960.00 being the annual interest on the cost, at 6 per cent, and the rent for the present year be paid in advance. |
