Moods Dist Comdr recommends the same, and states that the lot of land was donated by the City of Macon to the free schools, this was seized by the rebels and some rough buildings erected for hospitals. Troops are now quartered there but the property will be t[[?]] over to the Bureau in a few weeks. Also favorable recommendation by the Gov. of Ga. Gen Tillson [[?]] to that the property be turned over ,except the temporary buildings erected by the rebels and that tose be disposed of under Sec. 12 Bureau L[[?]]. |
