States that in 1863, the Levees in the vicinity of his plantation were cut by Admiral Porter, to facilitate operations against Vicksburg. his plantation was overflowed and his overseer was obliged to send 75 hands to S.C. Some of them now wishes to return, he requests that the Bureau will give them transportation. |
