East Feliciana

The Agent reports about 100 cases disposed of during the month. The moral condition of both Whites and freedmen in this Parish is a disgrace to any civilized country. The crops upon lands that have been overflowed are a total failure and upon the high lands the worm has made its appearance and planters fear that they will not raise cotton enough to replace the seed planted. Corn is looking well. 

West Feliciana

Freedmen are working remarkably well and are contented. A few complaints have been made but are as a general thing in regard to arrears of pay for 1866. Crops are looking well

St Martin

Several contracts have been approved during the month. Freedmen are working upon shares and are very industrious and contented. The Cotton Crop will not be large owing to the heavy and continual rains-Two
