The Text Books used in these Schools are the National Series.  The attendance upon the Schools is good  All things considered there is very little tardiness.

The Scholars in these schools are all making commendable progress in their studies, and are all improving rapidly in their manners and minds The more advanced among them are studying spelling and reading, writing, Geography, Arithmetic, and commencing the study of Grammar.  The classification of the schools is good.  There are three grades.  The primary, the intermediate, and Grammar.

The day School is attended mainly by boys and girls, the latter generally predominate in numbers   The night School is attended by adults Some who attend the day School are permitted to attend the night School.
