CONSTITUION AND BYLAWS

SAN FRANCISCO MODELS' GUILD

ARTICLE I
Name
Section 1. The name of this organization shall be the Models' Guild [[strikethrough]] (A.F.L. Local 24196), which was organized in October 1946 and was legally chartered by the A.F.L. January 27, 1947.
Section 2. Its headquarters shall be at ___, San Francisco, California.

ARTICLE II
Object and Purpose
Section 1. The objects and purposes of this organization are: To provide adequate facilities for the employment of reliable models; to keep careful records as to the talent, availability  and dependable of each of our members; to supervise vice and keep records of the services rendered; to improve employer-employee relations; to elevate the standards of the profession; and, generally to advance the best interests of those who members of the profession.

ARTICLE III
Membership
Section 1. The membership of this organization shall consist of models who show their interest in the Guild by regular attendance of the business meetings, good conduct, and payment of dues. No bookings made until receipt of payment of dues.

(a) A model must pay initiation fee, be on month's probation, and accepted before he is considered an active member, at which time Copy of Rules and Regulations is available to him at minimum charge.
