No abandoned lands are under Bureau control in this Dist. 
The Claim & Complaint Divisions, operations of which will be reported respectively, are under the charge of A.W. Bolenuis appointed agent Dec. 2" 1867

Claim Division
This important branch of the Bureau has received but few new claims during the quarter; its principal operations being confined to obtaining information, and evidence in the settling up the man unfinished cases yet on the books.  Much of the labor of the Division consists in rendering assistance to W.F. Bascom, late Agent &c, Sanitary Commission, in obtaining evidence with reference to claims.
