In accordance with instructions, I have the honor to transmit herewith my Monthly Personal Report.

Was assigned to duty at this place by order of Major J.R. Lewis A.A.C. dated Atlanta Ga. Oct 1, 1867.  My duties, as Agent during the past month nave been unpleasant in many instances; yet I believe that great good has resulted to the freedmen.  Have now with me a small garrison of troops, and as a legitimate result, the threats and bluster of disloyal citizens have very materially lessened.  Have been compelled to make several seizures to satisfy the demands of the freedmen for their labor; and the effect has been wholesome, as others who had long withheld the money due to the laborers have been
