and manifest duty it was to take cognizance of precisely such complaints, and demand redress for just such wrongs. 
Specification Sixth In this, that the said Major Bolenius, manifested an [[strikethrough]] utterl [[/strikethrough]] utter recklessness in regard to the real interests of the colored people, by compelling them to come from distances, and go to distances upon fools errands, [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] thereby causing them to loose their time and spend their money to no purpose, all of which was done to make a large show of business, which in the end amounted to nothing but trouble and expense to the colored people, and causing distrust and dissatisfaction.

Specification Seventh. In this, that the said Maj Bolenius, was in the habit of using profane and improper language while addressing claimants, such expressions as "why in hell," and "what the Devil" &c being commonly used, as well as other abusive and unsettling expressions, it being common for him to require an explanation of parties, and then ordering them to "shut up", before they had half finished thus provoking and irritating the
