my lowest cash price - I gave a list of between 10 and 11.000 acres, and put the price at $10. per acre, in as much as I would take less, should the whole lot be taken. Since then, enquiries have been if I would sell in smaller quantities. To which I have replied, that I would sell about 4942 acres at $12 per acre, consisting of 4 plantations, about 1800 acres of which was cleared and ready for cultivation, and upon which there are Dwelling houses, quarters, Barns & Stables, Gins, Cotton Presses, Corn mills, besides out houses.

Also a second lot, which contains the first, with an addition of another plantation making about 6314 acres, 2500 of which is cleared, at $13 per acre.

Two thirds of what each one of these lots amount to, to be paid in cash, and the remainder in one or two years, bearing ten percent interest secured by a Deed of Trust.

The whole sums up as follows. Land about 15.556 acres, of which there is cleared at least 6000 acres. Upon it, are 14 Dwelling houses, containing about 110 rooms. One of the Dwellings, although occupied, is not yet finished, requiring plastering. It contains 32 rooms, and its estimated cost when complete was $30.000. Quarters containing about 160 rooms- besides various other out houses, Barns, Stables &c, some of which are of an excellent quality. 5 five gins, cotton presses, and corn mills. One steam gin & corn mill, also horse mill & Gin, though both considerably damaged - One fine Steam saw mill, with upright and circular saws, also lathing saw-fixtures for running corn mills and shingle machine (they having been removed) and a Brick Church and school house.

The fixtures and improvements upon this land, has cost more, than is now asked for both improvements and land. This body of land taken as a whole, presents more advantages,
