[] School Report Continued [] about the last of March the Bureau adopted their Clerk, Mr. Core, to act under the Superintendent of Schools, but to immediately supervise as formerly the clerical affairs of the Association, Mr. Core has qualified, and has entered upon his duties.

[] Action of Balt. Assn. in Reducing Schools [] Our Schools, have, during the past two months been reduced in number by the demand of the Baltimore Association for $15 per month from every community of Colored people, (for what was styled a "Missionary fund") in addition to the expenses for Board, &c for the teacher. The people cheerfully endeavored to pay $12. per month, (the amount first demanded,) and fifty schools were reported by the Association as ready to meet the demand, but thinking $15 too great a demand in mid-winter, they, in some cases, have declined to continue the School. Several Schools have been closed on this account.
The Baltimore Association has now received from $15 to $12, and I trust that with the opening of navigation, and the furnishing of Work, the Schools just closed, may re-commence,
