Washington, D.C. General, I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of communication dated 10th inst from your office, relative to certain transportation issued by virtue of Special Orders #59, par I C.S. from this office and to say in reply that the same was issued through inadvertence and that the issue of transportation in like cases will not again occur; S.O. #59. par I has been revoked and the transportation ordered to be cancelled.
