Notes in reference to the business of her late husband S Clair Mandeville which is still ? - speaks of the ill-treatment, and criminal conduct of Gen Mower in regard to the books papers and money & seeks that justice may be done to his and her children. Asks that the Comm will order the payment of salary due for services in the month of Oct - and refers to J. W. Spencer Field of New Orleans, who will act for him & take charge of all letters.
