The dedication to Mr. Wright and the artist's quotations in italics were to begin at the top of the next (facing) page. The other photographs were to be dispersed in variable sizes throughout the text as close to their reference there as was possible. The two footnotes and the lecture and dating credits were to follow everything else.

I could not see any need to identify myself through an author's credit since who I am is apparent early in the text. Also, I liked being somewhat spacious and anonymous. (If you should choose to pack all the photographs, except the portrait, to the end after the writing, I wouldn't object - even if they were all the same size too. I do not want to disrupt
