Cold Spring

Leidy dear Leady, 
I sit here by my scotch glass amongst my anytime bottles - "new life" and "oil of life", noodling. 

I would like to draw out a brief writing on Judd drawings which I own (ten) with five illustrations. How would that sit on you? 

I've had the privilege of having first crack at Don's sketch books for the past couple of years. (Dick Bellamy was never really interested in looking until the Saõ Paulo verification.)(Once, I tried to persuade Barbara Rose to go and to pick from what Don was hording but she wasn't sure about his work until very very recently in Artforum.) (Don used to smile curiously and go arme akimbo as I poured over comparisons of his sheets. I infected him finally. He has ten of my diagrams now. - an equivalent compulsion.) I can have fine photographs made free of change of change in the Gugg, Museum Laboratory. A young artist - photographer there owes me money and a favor. O.K. ?
