Dear Phil,

My graduate students claim not to have enough to look at. Exhibitions here are generally retarded. Trips to New York are infrequent (costly of time and funds). When magazines disappear for faculty perusal, few, if any, are returned.

To rectify the situation, I would like to buy an Artforum subscription for my office. Also, I would like to have some back issues which have many reproductions, artists' statements and the like. I recall that one issue which had a small Mondrian painting on paper board reproduced on the cover contained an article on Frank Stella by Bob Rosenblum among other things. If possible, I would like to have two copies of that issue. I would appreciate having a few other issues of your choice, too.

Please bill me here.

The Jubbs should be near you.
