As you realize, Phil, I cannot appreciate either your readership or that of your wife about my papers presumed lack of culminating propositional clarity. I have read it, too; my meaning is definitely there as I must put it. Further, I believe in the meaning of the paper as I never have before about what I have written. 

It is my hope that, in another decade, young people - others - all of us will derive some benefit from proposals contained therein. Certainly, no "improvement" of art is intended. 

"I'm not moved by your suffering for both sides." (in Vietnam) must be an oversight on your part. I think that I know you for more human concern than that callous distortion. 

Better westernized than slain, the reverse of "better red than dead", is a credible possibility, too. I still maintain that the exaggerated slaughter of potential mankind exceeds the controversy of partisan political failure as the contemporary disaster.
