Phil,
Now, I have scanned and then, read "The Flavin Case". I don't want to comment on it at length without your invitation to do so. I do understand and appreciate that, through the article, you have attempted to be kind - despite some distinctly patronizing references and conclusions therein. (I might have enjoyed unlikely and unnecessary comparison with painted results such as those of Rembrandt or Caravaggio or even De la Tour but with the abbtsbyed - that's utterly odione. Dliereo no "cosmic" cosmetic on my effort.)
By the way you are incorsed with referencedto my initial use of artificial light - even though the information first is really lonely in the December, 1965 edition of your magazine. [[/strikethrough]] to [[/strikethrough]] This almost incredible, your affection - affliciton - adapation - affectation, posing the anachronistic oppoisiton of supposed sacred and profane contemporary artistic attitude.
And the Devan edposition rose three parted. I can tell you more about the de Kooning referral. Barbara Rose herself reported that she inteded to propose an esthetic "re-evaluation" of so-called light art. Where nd when it is happened to appear is not lenorva here.
I snet Blosson every period by Mauriee with Virginia Davan in her office a few weeks ago.
