well - but well out of your present employ with which you are so uncomfortable.

Best regards,
Dan F.

P.S. By the way, I witnessed a really curious scene in Ottawa. At a dinner party for me and my friends recently arrived, somehow, Burnham got himself invited. When introduced to a customarily smiling Don Judd (who has attacked Jack's witless proto-art historic technological determinism in print), non-vindictive Jack withdrew his hand from Don's friendly one offered to him. Later, Don voiced surprise at the incident to me. He shrugged his shoulders and laughed it off as knowingly as is usual with that substantial guy.

P.P.S. One young artist whom I know, recently, came to me to say of Burnham's Ottawa article "Why was a boy sent to do a man's job?" Possibly only you know, Phil. But I suppose that the other Artforum alternative is to send a girl such as Jane Harrison. Then, I can't summon too much concern for the anticipated critical failure in the North.

Sonja and I just indulged in some ironic laughter. It seems, by notice, our "subscription" to Artform terminated with the December issue.
