My health broke down, not real terribly.

...Yes, and then by this time we had gotten fed up with the rat race of New York, and we wanted something...we felt that life should offer something other than big apartment buildings where you couldn't see any trees and greenery. I've always loved being close to nature. I've lived in out-of-the-way places, in Mexico, in a very rural section in the mountains. I always have considered myself more able to work in a more isolated atmosphere. I can work better. It's more conducive to my personality. So we decided...neither one of us had ever been to California, and we didn't know anything about it really. But we decided we'd take a chance and see what happened. So we came out here, fell in love with it, decided we couldn't stand New York anymore. As far as I'm concerned, California is God's country.

...No not now. We built a house about a year ago in Highland Park.
