I like the brilliance of the colors and can paint with a brush with it. Aquatec doesn't feel right to me with a brush.

I moved the Carter piece off the pad getting ready to work, with Jim & Willard, in a couple of weeks - hoping to work fast with them and knock out 2 or 3 pieces quickly.

Very worried about money - the option on my building in NYC hasn't been renewed and I'm hoping they will. Andre is buying 2 pictures I held back from Mirvish last show - he will send them to the Art Fair in Europe this spring. I don't think you saw them - I think they're O.K. and will look good.

I still feel scatter and not [[strikethrough]] about [[/strikethrough]] able to get together enough interest to pursue a kind of painting at this point I feel the longer I can keep messing around with a lot of things the more apt I am to get at the essence - It is a strain though, not being able to come up with something convincing. Actually I have a clearer idea about making some sculpture. I'm skating on thin ice financially, with all this.

I haven't written you such a long letter in quite a while, I hope its not disturbing -

I'll call you in a few days - I think Kramer cooked his goose from all I hear -

miss seeing you and hope your work is going well. Love, Ken Noland
