A SUMMER DAY

34

With nothing to do but to dream and dream,
As I follow the course of the idle stream.

And The careless thoughts of a summer day-
Light as the thistle-down blown away.

I could live for aye in this idle trance,
My heart as light as a naiad's dance.

I would not change my summer day
For a royal robe and a regal sway.

With nothing to do but to dream and dream,
As I follow the course of the idle stream.

And The careless thoughts of a summer day-
Light as the thistle-down blown away.
