UN: Oh is he. I think he has to be fantastically tuned in.

UM: Well you may be tuned in and yet not have the interpretation. You know, I may sense colors and yet it may not be up to me to materialize them. I. I understand that very well. I think that Nauman though is very important. I tried to get a statement from him, but he cannot be.reached, he's never written anything.

LL: He's never written anything. He's in Paris. He's just setting up a show. 

UM: I shall just have to show pictures of him. When he was at Castelli's I didn't even get very good pictures of him. But anyway what I'm very concerned with, and I again have to come back to the nasty word "conceptual art" - it's something that could be .....out and disappear altogether, or it could be somethingthat has tremendous impact. I think that we live in a society that seems to eat up, devour, concepts with an avarice that is unheard of, and I think that is destructive to art and [[redacted]] artists...[[/strikethrough]]
