Dear Mother:

Well, this is the last day of school - have one problem to finish in art and I'll be three! We had the Pelican appointments banquet last night - Bob Pickering was editor of course, and Bill Turner was appointed assistant. George just couldnt handle the literary end of it. They gave me a pin instead of the usual key they give the men. We had a swell birthday party on part of the ten dollars you sent us - we and the Starles went to the city, had dinner at Izzy's, then walked thru downtown, went to the Prado and Frantie to a show and then Fisherman's Wharf.
