E. dear,

We were going to drop that "G" part of the name at one time but I think [[?]] put it back on a catalog and I can't lose it.

It stans for lack of imagination on some ancestors part, as I have met a lot of other Arthur G's that were born in 1880, and the G always stood for Garfield, President & Vice President. Kind of a lot to carry all your life.

Your letter just came and I will get this off on the B. [[diamond?]] so it will reach N.Y.
