Dearest Mummie:
I am at least in the land of the quick, or the moving. I have been so busy with preparations for leaving 19 Edwards street that I haven't had a minute to write. My new address will be Apt. 3, 120 Byers street. Didn't I tell you that we were definitely moving? Among the enclosed is a newspaper clipping of a cut of Ruth, so you can visualize her. At present she is attending a Y W C A conference, so I have to do all the work. My threewicker chairs have been painted, as well as some other chairs. I am getting my cushions covered, to match a new color scheme, (whenever I find the right colors of materials). I wanted to get a new rug; but when I got the one of my choice up to the apartment; it wasn't large enough. So far I have got all my books up there; the bathroom fixtures are up; the curtains have been laundered and hung. Some of my pictures are up; and a lot of Ruth's furniture is moved up there. I am moving piecemeal, as my strength holds out and hope to be all straightened out before Ruth comes back July 1. Didn't I describe the arrangement? It will be fine if you come to see us, or if Ruth's mother does, for you can have her room and she'll come in with me. We want both of you to come, not however at the same time. Better not wait too long, as I may have flitted before many more moons.
Did I tell you about my Van Gogh representation? Chartreuse, apple green and dull blue, the colors of which I am using.
