I told Frances and the children all about our wonderful trips on the ocean and the remarkably pleasant and surprising trip up the river to the dry dock, and I assure you they are grateful to you for having made such a holiday for me possible.

Now, a point of advice from the "old sage". Please don't overdo it. Go slow in making the changes in and outside of your beautiful house. Remember that when your great French paintings are hung-even if only six or seven-to begin with you will have transformed your house into a shrine of dynamic beauty
