Dear Keith and Edna:

First of all I want to thank you for all the beautiful photographs you sent me, and then I want to tell you that I am delighted to know that your pictures from Los Angeles arrived at last. I knew you were a little anxious, but anyone would be. I can see you both puzzling over the wall-space. The proportion of the pictures, horizontal or vertical to fit them. But you'll do it as well as anyone can. I am sure. Only I miss the real fun of being with you at this most pleasant of "jobs". And I repeat, do not work hard - cutting anymore "Bougain - Villa" snarles - a little at a time!

How often I think of the wonderful
