days and evenings we spent together, and how we would wind up the pleasant days with our favorite finale - ice cream. What dreams, what fancy is born of real living. The basis of all happiness, of poetry in life, is reality. If only, the confused would learn that.

The enclosed will interest you. It is just one more link in the chain of events and stepping - stones in my life. I took the liberty (when I wrote to Mrs. West. -) of suggesting that she get in touch with you, and told her that you would be pleased to let her see your magnificent pictures. If I assumed too much please forgive me, and if it is not agreeable to you, I know you have the wisdom and tact to know how to avoid meaningless contacts.

I must not forget to add - that your beautiful pictures of me tempt or feed my vanity Am I really not "bad looking"?
