Dear Keith:

Your two kind letters and Edna's letter from New York a day or two before you left received with more pleasure than I can express. I was eager to acknowledge the letters much sooner than this but the framing and fitting the pastels and guaches [[strikethrough]] into [[/strikethrough]} proved to be more of a tedious and perrnible work than I imagined. I sent out 16 framed and glazed, and Monday I have to go to the gallery to finish the job. I have to fix six more into frames Florence is finding me for the exhibition. Two other pictures to be included in the show were at the gallry.

Well I wish you could have seen the pictures in the frames! Florence was amazed, and exclaimed "And you had all these stored away!" I wish you could be with us at the opening. I will miss you but then your spirit [[strikethrough]] self [[/strikethrough]] selves will be present, and I shall feel it. And I am
