to see my early work on those beautiful walls. Those pictures will stand out as milestones in my life, and as witness of my pioneering for Modern Art in America. 

Perhaps this last hurricane was a mere dud compared with some in the past. Nevertheless it must have given the people of Florida many anxious hours. It was good you had those metal shutters to put up. Such things or implements go far to lessen ones fear.

The holiday in Vermont was fine - scenery, climate, people - all five but too far - and the "barn" that I can imagine how eager she is to return to your beautiful house - back to the environment - beauty and poise which you have already implanted there since you moved in. (And I was with you when you did)
I'm so glad you have all your pictures with you now. I can imagine how much you missed them. For I know how much they mean to you and Edna. Think of it! You have your own museum.

My exhibition opens tomorrow The galleries have been newly decorated and I feel proud to think that mine is the opening exhibitions. Im crazy
