Now about the lithographs. Dear Keith I cannot tell you how deeply touched I was by your suggestion - to let me have some in your collection in case I did not have them - to send to Chicago Art Institute. It so happens that I have a goodly number duplicates - and I already sent them off. They wanted particularly a set of my colored woodcuts - but those I have left I am keeping. New ones I cannot print. It is so difficult and great strain on my eyes. Mr. Schniewind of the Chicago graphics dept. writes it serves the trustees right. When they could have bought them out of my exhibition there in 1943 - they didn't. But he tells me they had no funds then. Now he has backing and the funds - so at least they will acquire some
