Ill find it difficult. Last year we were still smelling the smoulderings of the frightful war. At any rate I will let you know in time what day - what train I will arrive on - in Fort Lauderdale.

I would have written sooner than this, but I have been in bed with the grip - since last Thursday. It certainly weakens one. We have had a dreadful blizzard here - 11 1/2" snow. - wind - fury of elements - for days and nights. It is splendid today. Hope it keeps up.

I certainly won't drag all the things I did last year. Being initiated - I will carry essentials only - no weight - sport jacket trousers to go with it, and light summer trousers shirts and plenty [[strikethrough]] underwear [[/strikethrough]] B.V.D's.- ..... not a superfluous ounze!
