Dear Sir,
I called at the Exhibition Room in the hope of seeing you, but [[strikethrough]] fainding [[\strikethrough]] finding that you had left, I address this note to you for the purpose of soliciting from you the great favor of an article for the Fine Arts Department of my next paper.  If you can share time to favor me, I shall esteem that your doing so lays me under very great obligation, and to the extent of my poor means, shall at all times be happy to reciprocate.
